"Beer Goggles" Domain Name Registrations
Ever registered a domain name, and then later say to yourself, "What the heck was I thinking?" Heh. It's happened to me, no doubt, and the last time I registered a true dud of a name--it was a spelling error on my part--I just retracted from the keyboard and laughed at myself for a spell.

Yep, been there, done that beer goggles thing. My biggest 'oops' was a typo, too!
Now I often email myself my final (pre) purchase lists. Good to see them in the daylight rather than making the buy at 3 a.m. I keep a mailbox just for such lists, with subject lines often grouped as a category of domain names.

Heh...I hear that! Nowadays, and like you, I try to restrict my new domain name registrations to mornings--or, more accurately, whenever I wake from a good sleep--and only after my second cup of coffee!
