Huge Sale of Typo Domain

Wow. Voyuer.com goes for big bucks, assuming this is a legit deal. I would never have imagined a typo domain going for over $100,000. WOW. And the Overture score isn't really that great, IMO. I guess the typo domain market is heating up!

Why can't I find domains like that? That is an amazing price for the domain. 2549 for a typo though is pretty high, but not 100K worth. But it's back to the other blog comment I made, that if you find the right person, the sky is the limit. Maybe I should reassess my typos. :)

That's a lot of money for a misspelled name. You have to consider that as search engines become more prevalent, typos are going to be worth less.

Either the typo domain industry is heating up, as stated, or it was one dumb buyer.

It's a decent typo, but not worth what he paid.

dang... thats pretty good lookin' typo!! I really can't spell!

..then again it's a french name, and i hate having to spell french words.. they're so hard to spell!!

typo names are actually pretty cool in my book, or even nonsense names.. just look at google! I'm really not surprised it sold... though 100,000 is waaaay too much!

I have to agree with you, Tyro. Unless there is something about that typo name we don't know. Hmmmm... Nah: probably not. Just some dude with a lot of money!
