GoDaddy SuperBowl Ad
So GoDaddy has been boasting about their upcoming SuperBowl ad. I don't know about this one Daddy! I think a domain registration commercial during the big game is totally out of place.
Beer: yes.
Cars: sure.
Jeans: why not.
Domain Registration: I don't think so.
I'd be interested in knowing the effect on sales after the game. Hopefully Bob Parsons will post an entry in his blog about it. Actually, if the commercial doesn't do well, he probably won't!

I kind of agree with the article.. A domain registration commercial wouldn't really fit in too well with Football.. Im interested in seeing what the Advertisement will look like hehehehe
Yes i agree with unbreakablemouse i dont see the connection between domain names and football.
So i dont think they will recieve a very good response from new customers.
I'm looking forward to seeing this "ad". I think there are smart enough to "intergrate" it really really well with the football scheme, or else they wouldn't make it to show during the superbowl

It should be interesting indeed to see the ad. I was reading about Google's idea of advertising and I was thinking to myself, "Is there anyone who doesn't know Google?" At least GoDaddy will gain a bit of a run against it's competition with such an ad.

Very weird to say the least. Why are they advertising domain names at a football match?
Next theyll be selling fish and chips in a health shop ;)
It may fetch a few people whom are interested out of curiousity, but I don't see Godaddy advertising on TV.
